5 Summer Pop-Bys Your Real Estate Clients Will Love

May 3, 2023 10:17:03 AM | Past Client Follow Up 5 Summer Pop-Bys Your Real Estate Clients Will Love

Your past clients deserve better than branded keychains and letter openers. This summer, choose a pop-by gift that won't end up in the junk drawer.

Forget the logo keychains and branded tote bags. When it's time to show your past clients some love (and ask for their referrals), gift them something they'll be excited to receive.

What you decide to drop off as a pop-by will say a lot about you, your brand, and the way you do business. A nice, useful gift will say, "I respect you and know what you like, and I want to show how much I care." Pretty packaging and a well-designed gift tag will reinforce your dedication to quality and attention to detail. And a good strategy behind the pop-by—for instance, following up with a text or phone call afterwards to make sure they received it—will result in plenty of referrals and repeat business.

Pop-bys are a great way to stay top of mind with your past clients. And what could be more fun than coming up with the perfect summer gift to spread some warm-weather cheer? Here are 5 of my favorite summer pop-by ideas, plus gift tags for each that you can purchase on Etsy.

1) Beach ball: "Have a BALL this summer..."

For your past clients who have kids, a beach ball is a fun gift that is guaranteed to get some use in the backyard or at the pool. These gift tags on Etsy by REdigitalassist include a message to "give me a call if I can help with buying or selling a home."

2) Sparklers: "Your referrals make my business sparkle!"

Delivering a case of fireworks obviously won't work, and not everyone needs yet another apple pie to add to their 4th of July cookout, but you can never have too many sparklers! Use some patriotic ribbon to attach these gift tags by mMadeDesignCo, and you have the perfect July 4th pop-by.

3) Ice cream scoop: "Need the scoop on the market?"

A lot of people already have ice cream scoops. But do they have an amazing ice cream scoop? Probably not.

If it's in your budget, or you're targeting a smaller number of past clients, consider this Zeroll scoop that has a liquid-filled, heat-conductive handle for super easy scooping. For a more budget-friendly option, the durable Sumo scoop comes in bright colors and is highly rated by Food & Wine Magazine.

And you'll need a gift tag with the perfect tagline, of course. How about this tag by StellinaDreams?

4) Watermelon slicer: "You and your referrals are one in a melon!"

While we're on the subject of kitchen tools, let's talk watermelon slicers. (I didn't even know such a thing existed!)

A watermelon slicer is a fun tool for easily cutting uniform cubes of melon. Sure, it's a little unnecessary, but it will certainly get your clients talking, and there's no way they'll forget who gifted it to them.

Pair it with these lovely gift tags by PartyPropsTreasures, which can be edited in Canva if you want to add your contact info.

5) Lemon squeezer: "Making every experience easy peasy lemon squeezy!"

Everyone knows fresh-squeezed lemonade is better than the powdered stuff, so make sure your clients have the best! Include a recipe card along with a cheery yellow lemon squeezer and this cool gift tag by BlueFenceDesigns.
